Touchdown! After a not-so-great flight over the Atlantic, I finally could stretch the legs at the Detroit airport. Three hours to get through all the "welcome to the USA" procedure.... after the meticulous check at the Amsterdam airport. They had huuuuuge scanners for unknown purpose and a lot of funny questions, but there are leaflets everywhere warning not to make jokes about the security, because they are trained to act in a defensive way when they hear/see/feel the proper trigger O_o My favorite: "Of course you can, you're not in prison!"  well... I felt so for a moment or two, but I kept the thought for me.

After realizing that they had misplaced my luggage, I felt the need for a cold beer.... which is always good to combine to some good food....  Virgin BBQ chicken sandwich and a Dos Equis :)
